Mega Sourcing Computers Warranty



The Mega Sourcing Computer System warranty is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. The Mega Sourcing warranty protects all our custom computer systems against defects in materials or workmanship for labor and one year parts from the date your computer ships. Extended warranty upgrades are available for purchase with complete computer systems to extend the duration of the parts warranty. Warranty service for all peripherals (monitors, speakers,Printer, external equipment) is provided by the manufacturer of the component. All claims for warranty service must be made during the term of the warranty.

You must have your invoice number to obtain Warranty. PLEASE follow the policy step by step:

1)Provide your COPY OF INVOICE, and send an e-mail to warranty@megasourcing.com.au for Requesting RMA NUMBER.

2)Our warranty department will reply you within 48 hours and attach a PDF format WARRANTY FORM.

3)Fill this WARRANTY FORM and E-mail or fax the RA Form to us. We will issue the RA number to you.

4)Return your item(s) with original RA Form (write down the RA Number, which we isssued to you, in your from) and a copy of your invoice.

5)We don't take any responsibility for any returns without our RA Number approved.

Warranty Length


Your warranty and return policy begins on the day we ship your computer /Parts . After your warranty expires, it is important to note that many of your components will still carry a manufacturer warranty (e.g., most hard drives are 3 year, and memory is lifetime!( Base on Model)). Once your warranty expires with Mega Sourcing, you must deal directly with the manufacturer to obtain warranty service for a component.


Labor Warranty


Every Mega Sourcing Computer includes 1 year labor warranty ( system ) . This includes labor costs for upgrades purchased through Mega Sourcing, should you wish to make upgrades to your computer. See the "Limitation of Liability" section below for exceptions to this coverage.


Parts Warranty


By default, every Mega Sourcing computer includes one - three year of parts warranty ( Base on Manufactory ). If a component fails or is found to be defective and is reported during this term, Mega Sourcing will repair or replace the defective part with new or reconditioned parts at our option. Upgrades to 2 and 3 year warranties on parts are available for purchase with any system, and pricing can be found on our computer configuration pages.


Shipping Warranty


Since most problems occur early in the warranty term, including shipping damages, Mega Sourcing offers outstanding warranty service for the first 21 days ( Return to  Customer ) , during which time Mega Sourcing will pay for shipping in both directions when it is determined by Mega Sourcing to be necessary to bring a system back here for repair. The shipping method used will match the transit time of the shipping method you ordered. IE, if you order your computer with overnight shipping, we'll cover overnight shipping return back for after repair / Replace. We use "  Australia  Post " / " Courier Please " for all return shipments. After 21 days you are responsible for shipping costs ( Both way ) to Mega Sourcing .

Any time you ship a computer / Parts to us, you MUST pack the computer properly. All systems / Parts  must be shipped in original packaging materials with the RMA number clearly written on the outside of the box. On return shipments, Mega Sourcing is not responsible for damage caused by improper packing. Computers should be in boxed, with at least two inches of packing material between the boxes. If you ship a computer back without original packaging materials, you will be charged for replacement packaging materials, since it is not safe to ship the computer back to you without them.

ALWAYS SAVE YOUR BOXES! Over 90% of the shipping damages we see happen when the customer throws away the original packaging. It is incredibly difficult to ship a computer without the original box and packaging! On a side note, we have designed custom shipping materials for a handful of computer cases. Specially made foam and boxes provide superior protection during shipping for these models!


Replacement Parts


If we find that a part is defective, and you are capable of swapping out the part yourself, we can just send a replacement part out to you as an advance RMA ( Condition Apply ) . The replacement part we send will include a return shipping label so you can return the defective part to us No  cost to you (Within   Warranty ) . This advance replacement must be secured by credit card. If the defective part is not returned within 15 days from the time the replacement part is shipped, your credit card will be charged for the value of the part. With all advance RMAs, Mega Sourcing is not responsible for any damages stemming from improper installation of the new part. It is your responsibility to know how to safely work with the hardware you  are replacing, and if you do not have that knowledge or experience, you should not attempt to swap out a part on your own. Component purchases are not eligible for advance RMA.


Return for Repair


Desktop and server computer systems are generally repaired within 7-14 business days after we receive delivery. If any replacement parts needed are not in stock, that will add to the total time needed to complete the repair.

When it is determined by Mega Sourcing that it is necessary to have a system shipped back for repair in the first 21 days, return shipping is covered by warranty. To enable us to cover return shipping costs, the customer can choose one of the methods below:

We issue an return label, which we email to you. Print out this label, and take your computer, packed and ready to ship, and the computer will be shipped. If the shipping service upgrade is desired, you may elect to pay for an upgrade to a faster method. Systems sent in for repair - System / Parts  Only .


Technical Support


Technical support is included with each computer system for the computer - Purchase  from Mega Sourcing .You must have your invoice number to obtain technical support. Technical issues are handled via email and phone. The primary (and fastest) method of communication is email. Technical Support are open M-F from 10:00am to 4:00pm. No Technical Support on the weekends and major holidays. Components purchased from the Mega Sourcing parts store do not include technical support. Tech support for operating systems is limited to aspects directly related to hardware functionality. Support for other operating system features must be obtained through other channels. Component purchases do not include technical support.

Refunds (15% Re-Stocking Fee) / Returns Within 7 days with un-open box / orginal Packing.


All return must be within 7days( re-stocking fee  apply ) ,date of puschase.Must be undamaged and in as-new condition, in original packaging. Opened or activated software is not eligible for return. The system or components can only be returned at Mega Sourcing's discretion, at the current value of the hardware minus a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs / Credit Card Surcharge are not refundable, and you are responsible for shipping costs to return a system. Special order items (parts not listed on our website, but are added by request to a quote) and peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc) are not eligible for return. Quantity orders and orders of $4,000 or more are not eligible for return. Due to the high amount of labor involved, liquid cooled computers are subject to a 25% restocking fee.


Computer Repair Guarantees


Our Seattle computer / Parts repair services carry a 30 day guarantee on our work. If your problems persist after you bring it in, just bring it back within 30 days and we'll be happy to give you full value of what you've already paid towards whatever additional repairs are needed. New or different symptoms do not apply to this guarantee.

Limitation of Liability


Mega Sourcing is not responsible for damages or costs that are the result of accidents, misuse, disaster, or abuse of your computer. Modifications, overclocking, BIOS or firmware updates, or repairs made to your system by anyone other than Mega Sourcing will void your warranty if not cleared through a Mega Sourcing Computers representative. Most all modifications will be approved, but we need this aspect of control in order to prevent unnecessary damage. Mega Sourcing is not responsible for any losses or complications that arise as a result of a computer failure or a delay in production or repair of your system.
